About Tiverton and the Tiverton Trade Association
Tiverton Town
Tiverton’s historic market town nestles alongside the picturesque River Exe and is surrounded by the beautiful countryside and hills so typical of Devon. It has a legacy of grand old buildings built by the wool merchants of past centuries and yet also embraces the modern day with a wide array of shops and eateries that provide an interesting and entertaining day out for the visitor.
At the heart of Tiverton shopping centre is the splendid Pannier Market which is open six days a week. It is the focus of a large general market three days a week offering a wide range of local produce plus general goods stalls and flea market and second hand goods on the other days. It is also the centre of a number of special events throughout the year
Tiverton is a town that has plenty to offer the visitor in the way of sightseeing, shopping and eating to make a delightful day out.
Tiverton Trade Association
Tiverton Trade Association is made up of members who have a business in or around Tiverton Town. We are working to increase the viability, vitality and sustainability of Tiverton as a whole and to enhance the town centre as a place to work, shop and live. We meet once a month and discuss issues that may effect Tiverton or businesses and people in it. We are a lively and friendly group and would welcome new members who might like to join us.
N.B. Our next meeting will be held on December 13th at the Tiverton Town Hall starting at 6.00 pm. Anyone wishing to come along would be welcome, please call Susie Griggs 07850375895 if you are thinking of coming.
