A hidden treasure, Mad Hatters is one of those places you stumble across on the off hand and never forget.
Hidden next to Greenslade Taylor Hunt Estate Agents, this charming café restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere for you to sit and tuck into whatever takes your fancy.The cosy décor and little back garden are topped by the quirky delivery of your food as it comes down a shute from the kitchens above: a superb touch!
There really is something to tickle everyone’s tastebuds. For a light, convenient modern twist there are a lovely selection of paninis and wraps; or for something more substantial and traditional there is an amazing range of everybody's home-cooked favourites; like a cottage pie or sausage n’ mash. Either way, I can guarantee you will leave more than satisfied - and full till supper!
And if the HUGE pudding portions hadn’t put a big enough smile on my face, the staff are most friendly and willing to help and shot right up in my estimations when I was offered a FREE top-up of tea! It really doesn’t get much better.
I would thoroughly recommend a stop at this modest little café- it really is something of a Wonderland.
